Your phrase, (ostensibly originating in modernity), "...“all things are ultimately knowable and discernable through science..." makes science and the scientists who practice it a religion unto itself. I especially resonated with your distinction between "for" and "in." For me, "in" implies an existential state of faith, a point made in THE PROBLEM OF EVIL video on this site. Thank you!
